Primer Red is a rich Chalk Paint™ hue that has been used in various cultures throughout history, from the opulent palaces of Venice to the ornate temples of Vietnam. Its deep red shade, made from abundant red earths, adds a touch of rustic charm to furniture pieces or can serve as the perfect base for more refined colours such as Château Grey or Versailles. It also provides a stunning foundation for gilding.
Please note, 1 litre can cover approximately 13 square metres, while 500ml can cover approximately 6.5 square metres. Depending on the surface you are painting, multiple coats may be needed for optimal opacity, especially if covering a dark colour or porous material like brick. Keep this in mind when determining the quantity you need. Additionally, for the best results, remember to use a protective coat of either Wax or Lacquer, sold separately.
