This leaf is very lightly adhered to a tissue making it possible to pick up and apply the leaf easily with the tissue uppermost. It is useful for applying to a large area particulary on a wall or large piece of furniture. It is applied in the same way using gold size.
Use the leaf with hands lightly dusted with talcum powder and stick the leaf on to a surface coated with Gold Size.
Transfer Leaf Brass: Also known as Imitation Gold or sometimes as Dutch Gold. Brass tarnishes so apply clear wax.
Transfer Leaf Copper
Transfer Leaf Aluminium: Also known as imitation Silver. Aluminium does not tarnish so there is no need to apply clear wax but to make it look like silver a light coat of dark wax gives it a look of vintage silver.
