Clear,Dark, Black and White Waxes by Annie Sloan 500ml
Clear Wax: Annie Sloan Soft Wax is the consistency of soft margerine in a tub so it is easy to apply, is completely colourless and has very little odour. It is water-repellent so can be used on dining room tables and kitchens. Wipe clean regularly with a damp cloth although for tough marks use a proprietry spray cleaner and rewax.
Annie recommends applying Chalk Paint™ decorative paint, waxing it and then sanding it for the best results. You can also colour the Clear Soft Wax with a little Chalk Paint™.
To age and give texture to your paintwork apply Annie Sloan Clear Soft Wax first then apply Dark Soft Wax. Wipe off any excess, then use the Clear Soft Wax to take more off if you need to. Leave the dark wax in the recesses to create a great antique look. You can colour Dark Soft Wax to make it less brown by using a little Chalk Paint® in the wax. Use Old White to make white wax or a bit of Aubusson to make the wax almost black.
Apply with a brush or rag.
Apply Annie Sloan Black Chalk Paint™ Wax to give a cool, dark finish to your paintwork, bring out texture in brushwork and mouldings, as well as darken and enrich colours.
Apply Annie Sloan White Chalk Paint™ Wax to soften and lighten Chalk Paint™ colours. It can also be directly applied onto wood to create a limed look.
